Piracy

Honestly, I used to buy CDs I listened to. I should of seen the greediness of the music industry. Even before the internet, they tried to shut down those record stores that resold CDs. Lucky, this was when Congress was more in tune with people instead of business. Then, the beginning of P2P came about and they took on lawsuits of Napster, etc. I can live with that. Property is property, and stealing is stealing no matter if a victim looses something tangible or not.

I drew the line at suing teenage girls, old grandmothers, working single mothers, college students, etc. Then, they have these absurd rates and try to milk even more money out of people. Their real looses come from bootleggers who sell fake CDs on the street corner, not an 8 year old who downloaded some stupid song. I don't feel guilty anymore when I download a song.

The true patriot is motivated by a sense of responsibility, and out of self interest -- for himself, his family, and the future of his country -- to resist government abuse of power. He rejects the notion that patriotism means obedience to the state.

Sacto Sh*tty

Amen, brotha, I don't feel guilty whatsoever. Most of my stuff are from the 80s that are no longer in print.
