What better way to spit in Microsoft's face than to acquire Apple? I'm not sure Google has the money to do it, but if they did...prepare for chaos. I'm sure it's been talked about.
Exactly. When I saw the YouTube being promoted, I saw Google exerting the influence. Also, maybe to get AT&T off the get Google to pay for bandwidth deal. And, YouTube video is just the right size of video for the iPhone. I do think Google wants to kill Microsoft, just slowly. With that bloated crap called Vista, they gotta shot!

I don't see the iPhone winning over IT departments like RIM did with the Blackberry. The iPhone is aimed at the, umm, stupid willing to pay big cha-ching! for the latest craze. "My iPhone has a 60 gig HD now." "Gee, that was so 60 gigs ago. Mine is 120."
