I think being private allows Cox to be more open about plans, and more realistic. They don't have to put out "bold" plans to keep timid investors in the ranks. The stakeholders all have easy access to the leadership and the vision plans, reducing that "timid" element.
That said, we both know just how secretive Cox can be about developments. lol -- Para Bellum!! |

| reply to SDKiwi actually, a private cable company is one of the most dangerous. They can not give a fuck about their customers, who often have them as the only choice, and they don't have any shareholders to answer to. So they can be up front like in this case, or they can be secretive too. |
