Re: SunRocket out of money?

Wow, I'm glad I got out of CrapRocket a little over a week ago. Number was ported to Vonage and if I need to, I can port that to AT&T CallVantage (CV could not port from CrapRocket, so the interim step was needed to Vonage as CV can port from Vonage).

This is the reason I will never pay for a service up-front. Sure it may cost a bit more, but when they go under and you cannot get your free year, you just don't really save that much.

Some risks are worth taking. Paying up front for 2 years at SR (as I did) costs the same as 8 months of going month-to-month. So if the company can survive for more than 8 months one is ahead by paying up front even if you don't get the full 2 years of service.

$24.95 per month is not just a "bit more" than $8.29 per month.
