It wouldn't surprise me; if everything is AT&T, it makes things that much easier to monitor.

Either way, I have a feeling AT&T will buy out Qwest before they buy out Verizon.....

Now, if that happens, it would be AT&T vs Embarq vs Independents....

I think the opposite. Verizon has the absolute wrap sheet to blow cash compared to at&t.

They will slow fios roll outs and slowly buy independents in areas that are densely populated. Then maybe make a bid on qwest , who probably won't sell out to at&t.
