Re: [NE] Google server farm in Council Bluffs - COX country While it's possible that Cox may end up with some link to Google in Omaha (either commercial or otherwise), it's not going to become a "Peering" location. Those are well established and I haven't seen any moves by the Internet community to expand upon them in the US. The primary "NAPs" are in LA, SF, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, NYC, Ashburn, and Atlanta. We are at all NAPs except Seattle. There's a lesser NAP in Miami that caters to connections to Central and South America. -- Want the most out of BBR? and if im correct isn't cox's network leased AT&T Bandwidth .. which would mean the cox network has Extreme amounts of capacity. not to mention the peering points ...
little off topic .. but i wish cox had someway to re-route everything from cogent thru level 3 then to me .. or i guess the Ash pop. i swear cogents network is congested like a mofo
