Re: Vonage sucks These are email addresses that customers gave to vonage. It is not like some massive spam sent from vonage to random addresses, this is legit email, sent from Vonage in your name if you put YOUR friends email in.
I have had Vonage for years and none of my friends got any email... because I DID NOT PUT MY FRIENDS EMAIL ADDRESSES INTO A FORM!!!
My service has been great, no problems at all. Please tell us more oh wise one, why does Vonage "suck". |

Maybe my ISP has a list of my friends' e-mail addresses, as part of their thirty silver pieces for allowing some three-letter federal agency indiscriminately spy on America, but Vonage has no such power. What did these igjuts think that they were going to do with the e-mail addresses that they handed over, with permission to use them for anything?

The wild and often contradictory tales of FUD can be entertaining...if you haven't heard them a thousand times before. Who knew that Guy Kawasaki would end up working for the phone company? But CB's tales come straight from the EvangeList playbook, that's for sure! |

| reply to keyboard5684 Vonage sucks because: 1. When my Vonage telephony device died they told me for three months before I canncelled my account that the problem is latency to avoid replacing it. Why didn't they tell me to buy a new device?
2. It took four- count 'em, FOUR - @#$@# phone calls ( the last one lasted 45 minutes) to cancel my account.
3. They don't know how to send MS.docs in email. I have MS Office on two machines and couldn't open any of the so-called response letters.
4. The Philipino phone support can't speak English, can't answer basic questions about serrvice. amd they don't know a thing about the US area codes. They sound like chattering magpiesl it makes my brain tired.
5. The only place Vonage seems to work is in large Metropolitan areas. They need to stay our of rural America if they can't offer a usable product. -- Mac: No windows, No gates, Apple inside |
