I run the AT&T browser including their security suite. I have read some forums about excluding router or modem address from real time scanning to avoid browsing slow-downs. Is this a good idea? |

| what is causing the slowdown? The AV part of the suite or firewall? You can disable/tweak the module that scans your http in AV as you will be still be protected by real time scanner. For firewall, place your router address in Trusted zone or something similar but not your modem address. Also if firewall can block scripting it can be either disabled or tweaked to have less impact on browsing speed.
