As for network neutrality, somebody in DC had better face the fact that the USA is no longer the center of the Internet. If US business is allowed to adopt policies that are rejected by international Internet authorities, we could end up isolated from the Internet as a nation.

It's all theoretical right now. No US backbone provider has done more than complain about how "unfair" unmetered peering is (and done a few dirty tricks), but have yet to agree on a payment system, much less the dreaded SLAs.
