| Typical Once again Captain Steve's arrogance is on display for everyone to see. Anyone that can read knows that the EDGE network is crap. Guess ole Steve thinks because the iPhone is on the network now it somehow will improve... Theoretical? No, the numbers dont lie. |

| My blackjack lasts 2-3 days on 3g. Having just gone from being an Edge to 3G in my area, I can't say I've noticed a significant change in battery life. I'll give you that they had to regroup and add a bigger battery to the Blackjack, but the "Extended" battery is hardly a monstrosity. Enhancing iPhone's battery life would be good for multimedia uses anyway. -- Laser eye surgery rocks! I love frickin' laser beams. |

 | reply to Bootes Battery life is already crap on the iPhone. I would rather have something that works at a decent speed than waste what little battery power I do have waiting for something to download on dialup speeds. |

WiFi eats more battery than 3G does, but I still see WiFi

Sprint's ready-link did the same thing. Guess when your phone is always hunting/pinging towers to say HERE I AM.. SEE ME... it will use up your battery. Just like BT.. just my experience anyway |

| I also got a great result from turning off GPS. My battery is almost 2 years old and I was having to recharge about every two days with very little phone use. After turning off GPS, I am getting over a week per charge.
