| Love the idea Normally I am a very fast person to jump on the bandwagon of a new item. Frankly, I admit I am grinding my teeth at jumping at the iPhone. But, I really feel the need to wait for the "next generation" to come out before I do it. Thus, allot of the bugs will be worked out as well as other things....
Now I will continue grinding my teeth. |

Damn the waiting game... I'm always waiting when it comes to Apple... Waiting for 10.5... Waiting for the phone to be 3g... Waiting for them to hopefully not be ATT only... -- Prove it... Save the Internet Time (NTP) service, use the pool. |

ColorBASIC8-bit FunPremium join:2006-12-29 Corona, CA | reply to bmn I know a LOT of people hate AT&T and think Edge is horribly slow, but I have both Verizon Wireless and AT&T and find in traveling nationally I get better service and coverage with AT&T. And even though I'm in SoCal, 3G is worthless as there is very little coverage in coastal Orange County where my office is.
I was set to buy an 8GB iPhone but in looking at my iTunes today I have more than 8GB of songs already and don't want to be picking and choosing what I put on my iPhone. I may just end up waiting until closer to Christmas and hopefully a new higher capacity version will be out. I'll just suffer through with my crappy Treo 700W until then. -- Macintosh Users Group Serving the Inland Empire |

Because of our horrible system where phones are locked to single providers, sold by them with subsidies, and the buyers are locked into contracts to pay off the subsidies. In Europe, you can buy phones and service separately, the way it should be.
Or so I understand... not that I've actually been shopping for a phone in Europe. -- 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0 |
