Cingular is better than "It's the Notwork" (Verizon), "The least powerful" (Sprint), T-blobile, or "We cover the places nobody lives in" (Alltel)

Better than Sprint ? Maybe in PA. I'll take Sprint over ATT any day. Especially when I'm doing anything data related (ie - Treo, Blackberry, etc.), it is Sprint or it is slow as molasses.

You mean YOU don't live there, at least be specific. For someone who lives in a rural, less populated area, I appreciate carriers (like AT&T Affiliate Edge Wireless and US Cellular, two of the three carriers here, Verizon being the third) that cover us "unimportant" people.

Care to back that up with any independent studies?

......

That's right because Verizon and T-Mobile usually top them. Do not get confused when AT&T goes to town saying they're the best with part of the evaluation that in some bum Egypt market comes up with AT&T a .01 percentage point ahead. That's about 10 calls that did not have an issue out of a few hundred.

what other network???

there's only T-Mobile and AT&T as GSM.

Last time I checked, AT&T has the largest "digital" voice and data coverage in the nation. Don't get that confused now.

No, there are several carriers across the US who use GSM as well. Some are- AT&T Affiliate Edge Wireless, Chinook Wireless, Einstein PCS, Three Rivers Wireless, Cellular one of San Luis Obispo, Alltel (for roamers only), and there are many more.
