<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/522717"><b>qworster</b></A> : All SoundExchange offered to do was cap the $500.00 "Per channel" fee at $2500.00 (five channels). The "Per song played" payment would NOT change. This "Deal" would ONLY benefit the big guys that have HUNDREDS of channels.<br><br>Besides, it's only for two years. Then we'd be back to the RIPOFF agreement.<br><br>What's needed is legislation like is going through Congress to make these fees similar to what EVERYONE ELSE (Radio/TV/Satellite/Jukeboxes) pay. As things stand, Internet radio will be paying more then a hundred times what over the air pays-and they have many, many more listeners.]]></description>
