MS has a strategy to make sure that Windows and other MS IP concepts are at the heart of all households. Zune was created to take clout away from Apple's iPod. HD DVD was backed to counter Sony's backing of Blu-ray. I'm sure we'll see a response from Redmond. They can't allow other companies to become dominant as it undercuts their whole strategy. |

Um Microsoft has already been in the phone biz for a while now. Anyone heard of Windows mobile? It does everything you would want without the fisher-price UI. There are tons of games and 3rd party apps for it. Microsoft wont put out a phone, they will just update Windows mobile. |
