Re: Vista - WPA2 Enterprise - wont retain username/password

Go to the Wireless Network properties, select the Security tab, and then change:

Cache user information for subsequent connections to the network

This control specifies that when you log off, your credential data is removed from the registry. The result is that when you log on again, you are prompted for your username and password.

Thanks for the reply jbibe, but I have that option checked already in my network profile but still no go. Any other thoughts?

With the option checked why would Vista not retain the settings in the registry?

Nope thats not working either. My daughter has the same laptop but with a Intel Wlan card and she connects fine, mine is a Dell/Broadcom. I'm starting to think its some kind of incompatibility issue. I'm going to update the wlan card and hopefully it will solve this problem.

Thanks jbibe
