I would suggest asking Raybro to place a 24-48 hour monitor on the line and see what he can offer on diagnostics or insight to a resolution.
Are you 100% sure that you don't have something powering on near the modem or the NID at that time in the AM? Coffee Pot on Timer, Lawn Sprinklers on Timer, Dimmer Switches or anything else (flickering street light?).
It would be good to show that the stats do not change before or during the AM DSL loss.

| Sorry I never followed up here but Raybro wasn't able to help me - said I needed to open a ticket with EL..
EL Tech support ran me through their script and told me that there's nothing wrong with the line - that it must be on my side. (They had me do all the same things I had already tried - disconnecting all other devices, hook up the modem directly to the NID, etc...)
I also checked for all of the things you mentioned, and disconnected stuff like my alarm system, DirecTV/Tivo - nada.
I've learned to live with it 'till I can get out of this contract. In fact, it's 6.18 and I'd bet it's about to happen again any moment. |
