Either way, with the capability of speeds like that, it will definitely be interesting to see Verizon and Comcast duking it out.

I doubt it. Moving to 3.0 will likely alleviate the congestion in the areas that send out the letters. I have never gotten "The Letter", nor anyone I know, so it must only be certain areas.

Here		 I don't see how it'll alleviate congestion when they all still go back to the same node. I know they'll be upping bandwidth but you'll still have to deal with the same backbone.
