I wonder if rogers did something. Im getting awesome speeds now with uTorrent (latest version). Currently its uploading at 80kB/sec (i have it capped at 80) and downloading anywhere from 70kB-150kB/sec.

How you get that speed? I also have utorrent express package but barely reach 3kb/s.

Any encryption what speed guide settings?

It probably doesn't matter what you say in here about not being throttled ... What would matter are the local performance stats for your cable segment as to whether they'll apply throttling and how agressive it will be.

All I know is that during the day the speed is limited to about 10 or 11KB max and at night (until about 8 AM) it jumps to between 25 and 35KB with spikes that go briefly above 40KB.

I see where it may make sense to have it throttled during prime time but also believe that they could probably open the floodgates totally during the night. Let the customers have what they pay for, plain and simple.

Now, if only someone would send me an invite to OiNK....
