IFPI represents the recording industry worldwide with some 1400 members in 75 countries and affiliated industry associations in 49 countries. So, it isn't the RIAA giving the IFPI their marching orders. Believe it or not, music companies worldwide have the same concerns about people using their music without paying for it. It isn't just the RIAA that thinks that way.
