Re: HDTV BOX said by sansri88:said by cypherstream:Yup thats all normal. Welcome to the world of 4:3 content on a 16:9 display My TV switches from 4:3 to 16:9 and vice versa when it needs to, so I don't have to worry about anything. It just shows black bars on the sides. My Moto Box does this for me. -- Alarm Clocks Kill Dreams |

 | Oh yeah, the 4:3 Override right?
Either way the box only generates graphics in 4:3. So if you push info its centered in the middle of the 16:9 display on an HD channel. |

I would have thought they would make the guide in 16:9 for those with widescreen tv's. -- Comcast of NJ II (Union) Comcast HSI Waiting for FiOS...2010 ish OS: XP Home/Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.8 dual boot CPU: Intel P4 "Northwood" 2.53GHz RAM: 1GB HDD: 100GB GPU: NVIDIA FX5200 QE/CI Enabled |
