| Not gonna happen in 2007, me think..
Really, folks, how can U-verse deliver HD onDemand when their SD onDemand is all but broken!
Every day more and more SD content is gone from the menu and never comes back. VH1, MTV are gone for good. Shotime has now only 3 movies in its folder...
There is nothing interesting in onDemand on U-verse unless you are ready to pay - there are plenty movies to buy. |

| All but broken? Showtime doesn't have nearly as many movies on as it used to, so I'll give you that but they do have quite a few episodes each of some of their special programming like Dexter and P&T BS.
Video quality isn't as good as the normal SD programming so they take another hit on that but I wouldn't say it's broken. |

| I would disagree with you. And here is why. For some reason Comcast has huge collection of movies for Showtime. So? why don't U-verse has it now? They used to have it something like a month ago...
But for me it does not matter, as you have mentioned that the quality is pretty bad (same on comcast), that is why I never use it.
onDemand is at non-standard 528 pixels horizontal, and no one is going to waste their time to watch it. The same goes for Comcast/TWC.
They compress some video content so badly that it is unacceptable. Instead of using it I prefer to rent a DVD - 1000 times better then that crap... |
