Kitchener, ON | New to Velcom and having Outlook send issue Hi, my problem is that as soon as I put in Velcom's SMTP server "mx1.velcom.ca" into my Microsoft Outlook settings, I start having problems sending email to certain addresses. When I try sending to hotmail, it either gets bounced back or it appears to send but never actually arrives. Hours of customer support have gotten me nowhere, they are blaming Hotmail but if I put my Sympatico SMTP server back in, everything works perfect again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Customer support has given up on me so I'll have to go to another ISP if I can't get this issue licked. |

You should probably post this in the Canadian Broadband forum where more people will see it. As you can tell few people know about the Velcom forum. |

Sorry for catching this post now usually there isn't much activity on this forum as our customers and a lot of people are not aware of it.
I believe the issue for your email has been fixed as it was a filtering issue from hotmail.
