Re: [OT] The New York State Travelin' Beaver - Part 3

Thanks Gary.
We are still deciding if I will stay away for one weekend or two. I want my wife to stay at least one month since it has been four years for her. Either way - I'm certain I'll be home by the 13th or 14th of March, leaving plenty of time for jwersen.

We're getting psyched, and LiaPearl has been asking about Beaver too. She'll be happy to see him again and thrilled he's coming with us. So am I.
He's gonna love the Air China stewardesses.
So do I.

There's no hurry if someone wants to host him in the meantime.

I make it a point to leave my seat at least once when they are serving.

Funny you should post this, as we are a little over a month away from when my mother passed last year...
I believe this is the LAST picture I ever took of her before she passed...

Return of the BEAVER!

Beav is BACK!

He went for a ride w/ his buddy, the Stewart's Dairy cow.

He WAS happy to see some icicles again.

He wanted to go for a ride in my buddy, Randy's Jeep.

He decided to go inside the Rusty and show Randy that he's still a two-fisted kind of guy.

He thought he'd try his hand at bartending. This didn't work out the way he planned when he ran into Homer.

Decided to try his hand at shuffleboard.

He got a little carried away w/ the slider sand. Guess he thought he was at the beach.
Beaver is BACK from his self-imposed sabbatical. He's been doing some meditating and working out, preparing for his great Global journey to the ancient lands of the Orient. He's ready to party and raise some HECK. He wanted to go out yesterday and see some friends, and put on his sweater, as he found it a tad "chilly". Funny, he didn't think it was cold a year ago, but folks in the Republic of Texas and the Planets of other Southern regions must have done something weird to his biological nature. I'll have him back to normal in NO time! Welcome back BEAVER!

I should note... we did take him to VOTE today, as he IS registered in St. Lawrence County, NY (in the Beavercratic Party, of course) ... but, the election officials were a little nervous about beavers and cameras being alone inside voting machines. So, he had to go in alone without the camera.

I understood that he voted for his favorite candidate.

The way it should be. No one should be able to see whom he votes for,,,,,

lol... I just voted and I was thinking about that... Taking the Beaver into the voting booth, would they allow it.. Guess the answer is no, heh.

I don't know about where YOU grew up, but around here. (in the good ole U S of A), whom a person choses to vote for is PRIVATE.

It was hard to tell who the Beaver might have voted for... the candidates for his party were written in Beaverese in the special Beav-O-Matic voting machines they had set up, so it made no sense to me. I DO believe that Bucky was one of the candidates. Some of our older members might remember him as a former child star, who did many commercials for Ipana toothpaste in the 50's and 60's.
