pppoe problem

ok not really sure what the problem is maybe you guys can help. First iam stationed in Germany were the only internet i can get is from deutch teclom or Tcom(bt they use deutch telcom lines) ok here is the problem hook everything up to the ADSL modem connects to the internet then it drops some times for a few seconds or longer then reconnects it does this 24/7. Gives me a new ip every time it reconnects. so i really cant get on line. I have tried setting the modems idle time to 0 like the tech told me to, but nothing happened. i have tryed another modem and still have the same problem. please help or call Bush and get my unit sent back to the states where things are easyer to get done.
LOL

This doesn't sound like a PPPoE problem but an ADSL signal problem. You need to check your line length and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Perhaps setting a lower speed will stabilise your connection.

Good luck
