Re: Rogers BitTorrent Speeds Increase? They aren't really messing with downloads... i've gotten up to 950K/s, it's the uploads which are crapped at 10K/s on known trackers... I have seen up to 90K/s or so on trackers I imagine they don't know about and haven't added to their filtering.
Slow speeds on downloads are pretty much 90% because of low seeders vs high leechers (peers)... ie. a torrent with 21 seeders and 1000+ leechers is going to suck no matter if your filtered or not. |
