| Webcast ?
Does Rogers filter Webcast connections? I have guy at work here who watches his sons college football via a webcast that some Maritime cable TV provides on the internet. He says that it starts to play well but after time he gets booted and isn't able to access the site or get back on anymore. He has tried to upgrade this Rogers service to a faster connection but it doesn't help, the only thing he's thought about doing is buying a SlingBox from FutureShop and having this son stream the game from his cable to his his fathers.

| No, Rogers only throttles BitTorrent.
The problem is a slow pipe between the source and your guy. It starts OK because the of buffering ... the player buffers a good chunk of data and eventually runs out but the data stream can't keep the buffer filled. |
