Like borredo  , I have no experience with the new activation system they use. I checked it out real quick, and it downloads a script to run, so it probably does set up the modem, if you are only using the modem. Otherwise, it will probably tell you to put the settings into your router. I'm just guessing here, I didn't go all the way through it. Try it with your current setup and see how it works. Either you will be able to create the account or you won't. BTW, the correct link is »https://activatemydsl.verizon.net/
*EDIT* I second going with the new equipment as well. Tom is the one to listen to here. Just save that old one as a backup. |
