Its not just the lenght and frequency of commercials on TBS, another fact is they butcher the movies big time, by chopping entire scenes out to make room for more commercials, and the censorship of words and entire phrases is so ridiculous... Sometimes the voice doesn't even match!

I haven't watched TBS in years because of the commercials. It isn't a "protest" thing - it's simply that my nerves can't take it. The last time was trying to watch a movie they were running, and it just wasn't possible. By the time 10 minutes of commercials were done you'd lost interest. CNN -- another Turner station -- probably isn't as bad but still annoying. Of course PVR's make it a little bit easier but that takes planning, and the interruptions are still annoying.
Come to think of it I don't watch a lot of normal commercial channels much at all, especially since I switched over to HD -- mostly Discovery, PBS, National Geographic, and sometimes CBC.
