I am very sorry to hear this and am always saddened when we lose one of "our own".
This also makes me rededicate myself and reaffirms that what we are doing here is that much more important.
The cures are out there and one day we will find them and then "our own" members will be cured.
RIP Woody and my condolences to your family and to your friends.

I just read through all of the posts on this thread. Wood often shared your posts with me and I could always tell by the look on his face that those posts meant a great deal to him.
I just wanted to share how Wood went from his last post to my posting that he passed away. On October 1st, Woody went to the ER with intense pain from the cancer. It was determined in the hospital that the cancer had gone to his spine and there was nothing more that chemo could do. He went through three more radiation treatments to try to diminish the pain. He was eventually dismissed from the hospital to go home under hospice care. Wood and I really believed we would have some time at home together (along with our puppy Susie!). He really was happy to be home but the pain was so intense, the meds were continually increased to control it. He was suffering from lymphedema spreading throughout his body. When he died, he just peacefully left this earth.
I take great comfort in your posts. Thank you for sharing.
