yeah, they gave me a hard time cancelling last Oct/Nov. Apparently, if you port your number to another carrier, they don't cancel your account. You still pay the $xx.xx per month regardless of there being no number associated with it.
They canceled it but still wanted to keep my money...

One on-line request to AMEX set them straight...that is why I use that card for recurring payments...they defend you pretty much all the time if someone is trying to screw you over.
