Overall, I have been happy with EATELs service and it is fast to the EATEL system but out to the internet it is slower than Cable. When I complained about the latency problems and the lack of bandwidth out to the rest of the internet, EATEL acted as if it was the first that they had ever heard of it but I am sure that is not the case. I think that if they work out whatever problem that there is with their backbone connection then this will be the best high speed value in Louisiana but until then, their cable competitor will have an edge over Fiber Edge. By the way, I am sticking with EATEL because they are much nicer to deal with than their competition and it is certainly in the category of 'fast enough'. |
