I also found out that the CLEC that was holding my number was having financial trouble. If they went under, it would be worse than what happened to Sunrocket. At least with Sunrocket's death, the CLEC was still there to port the numbers away.

Yeah they took that down, the info said they plan to close that soon. I guess they did not get to acquire some of the assets, or if they did, they don't want anyone to know.

I switched to teleblend from SR and man it was a mistake.
i had people leaving me voicemails for a week and it was going into a big hole, i was not able to retrieve those voicemails. The feature to have the calls ring your cell doesn't work either so when i wasn't around, i never knew i had calls going into voicemails since i wasn't getting the rings on my cell at the same time.

I'm sure a lot of folks are pretty upset with me not returning their calls by now but i haven't identified them all yet.

I thought this was the better choice as it sounded seamless and quick to transfer to.

I'm looking for someone else now after paying them a month already, i still have features today that doesn't work including the inability to call outside of the US.

Register her for the ebay service that calls you when auctions end, then watch a TON of auctions.
Use Viatalk free, connect her to random fun places.

On the illegal side however would be fun none the less...
Have her trash service stopped.
Disconnect other utilities.
File random complaints with the FCC her having problems with multiple regulated services.
Same for the PUC in her state.

Just some ideas, I would not recommend doing any of this.

My forwarding is working, but i did not disable my Voicemail with SR, now i think my SR VM is sort of picking up my calls after 10 rings, and just going dead.

I tried logging into SR to disable VM, but i can no longer log in. oh well, my port should be complete in 3 days.

The Sunrocket line itself is still working fine, but it looks as if I'm going to lose my number for at least a few days, even if my LNP is successful.

Nice of them to shut down the portal, in advance of the cut-off, so customers can control even less of their own destiny. This Sunrocket/Teleblend experience has certainly been... educational?

I have a theory that 10 days from now when our Sunrocket service finally dies is probably the same date that those who signed up with TeleBlend will have all of their services functioning (including voicemail). Just a hunch.
