Re: Hang up phone then DSL loses sync Do you have any sync loss when your phone rings? If so, maybe you have an MTU in the NID. That possibility might be ruled out though if your NID is relatively new, say less than 6-7 years. |

| Follow up: the problem was caused by a small "test board" that had been spliced in the telco side of the NID by the phone company. It's a little 1 inch by half inch pcb that's coated with weatherpoofing and the tech took it out... problem solved.
Had a splitter / homerun put in anyhow. |
