Have some pizza's delivered.
Have Chinese delivered.
Send her flowers.

Sign her up on any catalog list we can find.
Put her name on church calling lists.
Pet her name on any calling list.
Prank call her.
Register her for the ebay service that calls you when auctions end, then watch a TON of auctions.
Use Viatalk free, connect her to random fun places.

On the illegal side however would be fun none the less...
Have her trash service stopped.
Disconnect other utilities.
File random complaints with the FCC her having problems with multiple regulated services.
Same for the PUC in her state.

Just some ideas, I would not recommend doing any of this.
All of that's illegal and could land you in the slammer for about 10 years or so. Federal prison to boot!

VOIP Light gone on AC-211, incoming and outgoing gone, no dialtone. Number playing no service message. GOTCHA
Also cannot reach Sunrocket CS

My service has been intermittent, but is still working as of 18:21 EDT. Thank God I have a Covad VoIP phone at home, too.

We paid the $199 for a year with 1 free year ... if we get shut down completely we will be going after credit card dispute for the entire amount.

Well, I use a regular old POTS line and it still works, and always will, my suggestion...if it's THAT important, pay for a quality POTS line or go with a larger company that will be around and offers phone service. You get what you pay for...

Thanks for your genius post. What kind of el-cheapo POTS line do you have that offers unlimited local and long distance calling for around $16 a month. Please advise and I will switch immediately.

You're right.. I forgot about that. Usually, though, that reserve you're talking about (ala escrow account) sometimes may not kick in unless they see a high volume of complaints or charge-backs.

Yea, I can see this hurting them... Charing 200 for 2 years or what ever for the 1 and not being able to tap into that money. Good point.

Sunrocket double charged me. Once in June for $214 and again last week. I'm going to try to get that money back and switch back to copper.

I'm really surprised that companies like SR, and even ViaTalk, are allowed to take these "annual plan" payments like they are.

They have to be able to stand behind their charge against the card and they certainly can't do that in month 9 of a 12 month transaction with a 90 day charge-back window.

It will be interesting to see how Visa, MC, AE, and Disc take this when they suddenly see a flood of charge-backs for SunRocket and realize they aren't going to be able to reclaim the money.
We have a fax service that Visa absolutely refuses to let me capture more than 3 months in advance, a whopping $15 at a time.

I would assume part of their demise was a "Reserve Account"

On high volume accounts, like SR, banks will hold a reserve for lets say 90 days,

This could also have hurt Sunrocket, where the processor could have only paid SR, 60% and put 40% in their reserve.

Then they could only draw on the reserve once a month, I would guess when the subs dried up, so did the reserve payments.

This is where they will pay the chargebacks from.
