So dont be<br>shy about doing a chargeback. CC companies have access<br>to bankrupt clients for a while. During the first part of bankruptcy, the credit card accounts must still stay open. Sunrocket Bankruptcy will pay secured creditors first (people who funded the startup/loans), but they consider the user a non secure fiduciary. The user who paid with a check will get<br>the pennies rolling on the floor after everyone else has left the room. So the CC companies are the only saving grace for the consumer. Yes they have high interest rates, but when it comes to situations like this,its great to have them.]]></description>

To avoid a big loss, you could go with a month by month contract with a VOIP provider. Sure, it will cost you more than paying for the whole year, but you don't chance paying for service you won't get, and it still cost you less than conventional land line POTS.]]></description>

I don't want to pay much for something I really don't use that much.  I am the same about cell and pay T-Mobile $100 for 1000 min that are good for 1 year and rollover.  VoIP is the answer for me, and I don't think the whole thing will collapse. I just called American Express and they said they had no problem disputing this charge and would give me a credit. Like was said earlier, it is now Credit Card Co. VS RipRocket. The Credit Card will probably not get anything out of them but they told me they would rather have my business. Check with your billing company or bank to see what you can do !!]]></description>
