I posted about this invoice issue at earlier this morning, but I guess not in the right place since no one appears to have seen it. (»Website Going Down?)

When I go back to that forum it seems some spammer is pimping Lingo there now. (»/forum/news,85···ays=2000)

Anyway, even my SunRocket call forwarding isn't working now. How sucky.

Funny how they appear to still be in business as they are still offering Rocket Rewards.

When I bought my service last Oct, 2006, and one for my daughter at college at the same time, I paid for a year's service inadvance for us both. Plus, we were supposed to get 3 months FREE.

The only invoice I see is dated July 10, 2007. I should be able to see my old ones too.

Where did these go?
How can I get these so I can port our numbers?

I think this constitutes a Breech of Contract on their behalf, yes?

Neither Voicemail or the Call Logs are working as well. The last call I see is from 8:01pm July 16. I know several people have been unable to reach me since yesterday and say they get nothing when they call my home number. Some people have my cell number, but others do not. I'm trying to conduct business and had recently called a bunch of people leaving my home number and not my cell number. Wow, I should sue them!

Are any of you sticking with Voip or giving up on it? Does anyone know if the same thing is happening with Vonage also?

This is what baffles me. There are over 1000 voip providers in the world, and some people are basing an entire technology on 1 provider. What makes it worse, is it is being based on one of the "CHEAPEST" providers in the market.

So, let me understand. I buy a Yugo or Geo and it sucks or the manufacturer goes under. Therefore the automobile should be abandoned and we should go back to horses. Or, you buy a Philips or RCA television and it breaks down in a year. So, do you give up on television service?

Look, I'm sorry that your voip service is in the toilet. I'm sorry that you chose one of the cheapest providers in the world. I'm sorry that you chose a provider that HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of posts have been written in the last 2 years predicting that this EXACT scenario was going to happen.

SunRocket has been mismanaged financially since the day they opened their doors to the $199 deals. It got worse with the BOGO deals. It got even worse when they hired AOL buttheads to take over from the founders. Unfortunately, many people weighed the pros and cons of a SUB-$10 a month service with the company's ability to make a profit and stay in business. MOST people knew the risk. That's why you aren't hearing from many of them. They knew what they were getting into and were willing to take their chances.

This is not an "I told you so" post. This is strictly an educational post. What happened to SunRocket and it's customers has absolutely NOTHING to do with voip, the technology, or any of the other providers. Later... Mike...

Not for long, Vonage is bleeding money left and right. Depending on how many people start screaming, the feds may step in and impose regulations which will kill the struggling VOIP industry.

Personally, Im just going to wait for the dust to settle before making a move. My SR service is still kinda working. I can make outgoing, incoming is broke but forwarding to my cell works so Im not missing calls. I will transition to using my cell and if someone picks up my SR account, great, otherwise hopefully someone will work out a good offer for ex-SR customers.

Invoice (and Billing info) tab's just came back for me--

caveat- only one invoice is available (july 07).. Yesterday there were 6 from this year.. Also, the invoice (which is $0's all around) looks different to me than it did yesterday. dunno

It's not like their billing system ever worked right anyways. Well, maybe the new one did. I am not even sure if everyone was transitioned to the new billing system, and if it died under the load of everyone pulling their invoices off.

Get a printout of a members page with your name, account number and your SR number(s) on it. This may be enough to get a provider to port you - no guarantees, since the official "process" always called for copies of the invoice as proof of number "ownership".

Good luck! And FWIW, sorry. Even though I have not worked there for 10 months.

Yeah. That works but shows only the final invoice with billing name and address so I guess its good for porting.

I bet they took all down for legal reasons, or to hide all there double billing fiascos but at least left these so we can have some proof to port.

Only one invoice and no voicemail. Call logs still working and show missed calls from today. Phone service still working just fine.

Still would like to get an "I'm sorry and here are your options" email. I bet there are plenty of the 200,000 that still have no idea what's about to happen.

Whether or not the renewal invoice is deleted Sunrocket can't dispute in bankrupcy court that they don't owe thousands 6-8 month refunds. There are too many credit statements trails to dismiss all of them. It'll just get them into more heated trouble (the VP's/Directors).

The member alert means that the new billing system is down. When the new billing system is down, the invoices, call logs and billing information tabs do not appear.

It seems as if someone has brought down the old billing system. That is why you only see one invoice. The old billing system may have just blown up on its own...it did that.

guys as i've said before,
if the invoice tab is deleted, don't be shocked, teleblend will take over this system, they are going to integrate their billing system to SR Control panel and re brand the whole thing, they are acting in a cost conservative manner.
