Officially jelous..

I'm officially jealous now.. FIOS is sooooo close to here yet so far.. Months away.

and to the Comcast fanboys: Enjoy your 30mbps nodes shared over hundreds of users!! FIOS = 622mbps (soon to be higher) per 32 person node.. Oh and did I mention, FIBER not copper. There is no stepping up from Fiber, it is the top of the line, copper is the bottom of the line.

Yeah, but while you gloat on it, just remember that Verizon will not GIVE you a 622mbps connection, only 30mbps by 2 mbps. You might try and justify how much better it is by saying "at least it's not shared like cable" when in fact, it is shared, but just happens to have a higher capacity at the moment. Cable would too if they got rid of all their analog broadcasts and forced people to go digital. Personally, I still haven't found anything useful to do with 30mbps down. Now the 2mbps upload would come in handy from time to time, but who needs all that download pipe? I don't even think you can find a site with useful info that will give you 30mbps down, except here, maybe. And even here, the speed tests are busy alot, so you probably won't even hit that speed. Now bring in the fanboys with all the claims of how consistent they get 30mbps. I will believe it when I see it myself.

For now, I bet "The Slowsky's" are pissed.
