Re: Versalink 327w sensitive to lightning like Westell 6100? The Westell 6100 has trouble holding sync during EMI. If your line stats are marginal the problem is more noticable. I have a friend who has good line ATTN and S/N ratios and he does not have the problems I had with the Westell 6100. I have an ATTN around 55 and S/N ratio of 12. During a distant storm (20 miles away) I would lose sync. The Netopia 2241N does not have any problems holding sync till the storm is close and by that time you should turn everything off and unplug it.
I've never used the Versalink model(s) so I can't jugde how they would do. Sorry. |
