 [modem/router] New Westell 6100 / ProLine firmware?

I received a "Rev J" westell 6100 in my new welcome kit after switching to dryloop dsl. When I hooked it up, I noticed a brand new web interface. See below:

Just wondering if anyone else has received this new version, it seems pretty nice! The power supply is now 12V instead of 10.5VAC, and is smaller than older models. Not sure what else might be different on the inside. So far havent noticed anything moving faster or slower. Link speed was the same.

Looks much nicer than the interface of my Westell 6100 (software version 4.02.00).
Have they made the modem itself even smaller? (assuming you had a Westell 6100 before).

The gui is indeed a lot nicer. The modem is identical in size and shape. It has a "Verizon" logo painted on the side now instead of Westell. I assume the older model could be flash-upgraded if the firmware was available for download. Is there any way to "dump" the firmware from this unit so we could test this?

I just got the same modem. Problem is if you call verzion for tech support the techs don't have this interface and when you tell them yours is different you can almost hear their brain explode. Then they tell you that you are wrong! Gotta love it.

I also got the same interface in a replacement I got recently. Had me a bit confused at first until I learned how things were shuffled around. Thankfully it doesn't look like they've removed any of the diagnostic pages. The only thing that's annoying is the advanced diagnostic and configuration pages make you click through a warning about it possibly breaking your modem each time you click Advanced. But I got around that by bookmarking the pages I wanted directly.
