Torn

I am torn. On one hand, I do not want government involve in what is a private business. At the same time, I saw fist hand how bad these exclusive contracts are. Once the telecom or cable gets the contact, there is no incentive to improve them. To me the only response is the free market response. Before buying or renting, ask about whom is providing the cable. If it is an exclusive contract move on.
