Ok, still don't know what your source is/was, but I took the radical step and actually called Allo on the telephone.
Spoke with some support guy sounded like he was in India. In anycase, first he told me that they were suspending for a month or two, then I mentioned the letter and he admitted that its true, that Allo is suspending operations August 1st.
Ok, now I believe it, I've heard it from the horses mouth. Is it really so hard to site a source? I guess lots of secrecy with companies going belly up for some reason? Certainly don't want to give your customers a chance to switch providers before the plug is pulled I guess.
Any wagers or rumors or unsubstantiated fact on who's next to fall? |
