Re: Who is TeleBlend?

Why can I still get my info at sunrocket...??? This is a scam I think..

Teleblend purchased all of Sunrocket's systems...and screwed it all up worse. Basically when you look at anything Sunrocket you're looking at Teleblend.

Two weeks now that I haven't been able to receive phone calls. I just discovered my 911 doesn't work as well when a woman collapsed in my front yard and I couldn't contact emergency services.. Isn't it illegal to not deliver 911 services? They've ignored my trouble tickets and cannot give me an ETA for any fixes. I smell class-action law suits....

Teleblend blew it. They decided to provide a voip service but cut the bandwidth from the clecs to lower expenses. It crippled the service for many of it's subscribers.
They went from over 100k subs down to around 9k in a matter of months. Now they are trying to bail.
They had a chance to make money but instead are going to lose their shirts. P8 is probably the only buyer and because they are incompatible hardware the price will be low and the pay back small.

What a waste. At least I had a little more out going then I would have had if Teleblend didn't step up to the plate in the first place.

Re: TeleBlend - stop the scam!!

I had signed up with Teleblend, and when I did not receive the service, called to cancel. They REFUSED to refund any money. I then complained to the Better Business Bureau, who sent them a letter. I am also going to call the Attorney General's office in Maine - these people are obviously unethical and unprofessional in their business practices, and need to be prevented from fleecing unsuspecting people!

Signed with Teleblend after the first 'we're going down" Sunrocket email - figured seamless transition would be a good thing. 2 days afterward, the virtual number we had for my wife's business, which is heavily dependent on phone calls to set appointments, stopped working completely. Needless to say my irritation with the sudden lack of any feature set at all paled in comparison to this. First CS call - "will be resolved in 48 to 72 hours". Second CS call 3 days later - "hmmm.... he didn't put any notes in the system..we're supposed to put notes in the system..it looks like someone removed your area code for this number..is that something you did?" Me - politely - "why the &@$ would I do that?" Left at "should be an easy fix - 48 to 72 hours". Blood pressure rising but decided to give them one last opportunity while watching my wife's cell bill go through the roof. Third - and last - CS call three days later - "might take up to 30 days to fix". After I not-so-calmly asked why I'd been told 48 to 72 hours by 2 different people in the past week how & why it could have suddenly morphed into 30 days, the rep actually got angry and said that the people dealing with these problems are working night & day, never leave the office, don't see their families, POW'S apparently. Perhaps all this should have been thought of before you people decided to take this task on, I asked? Why would you for one minute think any customer would care to hear about anything like that? What kind of customer service department is this? Silence..then click. Unbelievable.

I switched to another provider immediately..

PS on Teleblend - after my number was ported to VOIP & I advised them to cancel my service - I tried to log in to their "web site", was denied, & figured I was done with them forever - until I noticed the charge on my Discover Card. Somehow, someone there reactivated my account, enrolled me in their auto bill pay service, & charged me in early Sept. This is beyond the bounds of the comic ineptitude of a lousy company - it's fraud, plain & simple. Discover is investigating, & in the meantime I logged in to my mysteriously reopened account & sent 3 trouble tickets detailing the problem. All were summarily closed by Teleblend without response. The kicker (as if more is needed)? They charged my Discover Card AGAIN, just today.

Anyone reading this that's still with Teleblend, all I can say is, your day will come.

I've too canceled with Teleblend and ported my number away and still getting a credit card charges month after month.

Add to that bloody nightmare, they've sent me an email Letter of Authorization that is unclear as to if they are trying to port my number back to Teleblend or if it is saying I need to reply so i can port Away. Since My number was Ported Away over a Month ago, this email is playing with words to get me to sign up with Teleblend again. Here's the message I got after canceling. Anyone else that ported Away with Teleblend get one of these?
CONFIRMATION EMAIL

Dear valued customer:

We apologize for the delay in processing your port request, but due to unavoidable circumstances and the large volume of ports with the providers, your request is taking more time than anticipated. We thank you for your patience with us and we will continue to diligently work through to complete the port of your number.

Please reply to this email with YES in the message if you would like to continue with the port process as the current provider of the number requires a confirmation in order to proceed. If your service is already fully functional do not respond to this email.

Once we have received your authorization in the form of a reply to this email, the port should be completed in a few days and you will have inbound service on that number.

Sincerely,

TeleBlend Customer Care

you don't need existing provider's confirmation to port number.. most probably they are trying to port you back in.

I am amazed how craftily this email is written to avoid mentioning if they are porting in or away ..

Re: Who the f*** is TeleBlend?

As a former SunRocket customer, receiving the email from Teleblend, I called Teleblend in mid July and signed up. SunRocket worked great. As soon as I signed up for Teleblend, I lost my dial tone, and in spite of my complaint calls, my dial tone was non-existent for 6 weeks! My credit card was billed on July 28 and August 28. I canceled Teleblend on August 30, signed up with another internet phone company, and got my dial tone back within 24 hours. In spite of my August 30 Teleblend cancellation, they billed my credit card on Sept 28th! I just called to complain, and the rep said that they had recorded my cancellation, but for some reason it was not forwarded to the billing department. She gave me the billing department's phone number, so I called, and got the same phone recording as on the regular number! After waiting for 30 minutes, and no one answering the phone, I hung up, and began looking for places to tell my story on the internet.

I have Teleblend and have used them for the last few months since Sunrocket F**KED me over... and I have absolutely no complaints about them at all. I can check all my logs and block unwanted callers by going online to their site and I'm charged $9.95/month for everything total.

I would have no issues at all telling anyone to use them...

$9.95 total??? What plan are you on? $12.95 is the lowest plan and with fees and taxes you easily pay >$15 a month.

Good luck with that. IF you want to keep your friends I would advise against it.

The plan that was offered to Sunrocket subscribers when switching their service over - $9.95/month.

I'm actually really surprised while reading all of these replies in this forum, since I have literally had ZERO problems with them... I even use my fax machine through the same Teleblend account.

I actually already have recommended it to a lot of people who use it and have had no issues either... I'm wondering if its just the people who have complaints that are posting and the people like me with no issues at all with the service are happy and moving along without posting anything... I know I'm not the only one who this service works great for.

Of course, usually the happy ones don't post if things are working.
I would also recommend registering here at dslreports.com as it is free!

When did they offer the $9.95 plan? The switchover "promotion" for SR customers was for $12.95. The non-SR customer plan is $19.95. Like I said before, you also have fees and taxes so even if your recurring monthly charge is $9.95, your total charge will be higher than that.

Re: "Ignore" is your friend.

Suggestion for those who don't want to read "silly" illogical posts in any of the BBR threads --- simply click the "thumbs up" symbol at the bottom of the offensive post and select "Ignore". I get such a feeling of empowerment when I do this from time to time (rarely) ... as I have just done in this thread.

That's the quandry though. Some anon posters are very helpful, and others are just jackasses. Do I penalize the helpful ones due to a few bad apples?

This offer came to me when I called them and asked them how much it would cost me to switch over from Sunrocket right after my SunRocket service was shut down a few months ago. It's $9.95/month TOTAL per month - I have my monthly credit card statements to prove that. I'm sorry thatyou couldn't that same offer, and that it doesn't work for all of you out there - I'm just giving my opinion on Teleblend, not asking that anyone agree with it, just like I don't agree with all of yours.

You don't need to prove it. Apparently that was a special deal they offered to you (and maybe others). You can see from the start of this thread (and at their website) that the SR plan is $12.95.

If I was offered the $9.95 total plan I probably would have stayed with them.

Was your offer for $9.95 good until your previous SR contract runs out?
