Obviously? I entered 1111111111 and got the same thing... Good point. Wonder what kinda' deal they'd give that phone #??? LOL!!!
Still wondering if some of the same names show up at TB that were at SR???? |

| Apparently they (and of course it's the same they) have learned nothing about obfuscation after their nonexistent gizmo security and kdanieli's eerily accurate statistics based on invoice numbers. Clearly it's the same moderately competent and absurdly self-absorbed IT staff back at play.

2 edits | reply to laserjobs To its looks like its $12.95 for as long as you had your Sunrocket contract. What is it after that?
Why do i think Sunrocket just shutdown changed name to Teleblend to get out of the prepay deals. Or is it my imagination the terms of server pages look almost the same. What did they do just remove sunrocket and put teleblend in place. |

| reply to TJ_in_IL It seems like teleblend is doing what Sun Rocket wanted to do when they realized that this prepaid business wasn't working out. I feel bad for people that will get suckered into this. Why do I suspect the same people who are running teleblend are ex Sun Rocket executives. |

| reply to scdgoofy Just thought I will share my experience with everyone -
My SunRocket service is still working (yeah!), but I finally got the email from them today telling me to switch to Packet8 or Teleblend.
Unfortunatley I am going to lose 11 months of remaining contract time! So I am a little afraid of going into another yearly contract right away. I am also skeptical to go with a new name like Teleblend (don't care about the parent company since they are in Singapore) whose service and quality history does not exist.
I finally decided to switch to AT&T CallVantage just now. I had been researching for last 2 days, and found that many reviews rated CallVantage's voice quality as the best (Packet8 close 2nd).
Plus, when I spoke to the AT&T customer service, I found that as an existing cingular/AT&T wireless customer I am getting a pretty good deal - $19.99 per month (instead of 24.99), + free equipment + free shipping + free activation + free number transfer from SR.
The Cust Svc rep also checked my number while on phone and told me it was going to be available for transfer to them too (suddenly Packet8 and Teleblend were not the only options)!
So with that, at least I am getting a better deal than Packet8 (where I would have paid 24.99 per month), and also getting a BIG name behind the service. |

1 edit | reply to laserjobs Its only $12.99 until the end of your sunrocket contract. They don't seem to give a price after that. Whats up with that?
From Teleblend site
We cannot honor any service contracts you might have had with Sunrocket but we will offer you a reduced monthly rate of $12.95 per month for the duration of your previous annual contract with Sunrocket. When that annual term expires we will offer you service at our regular annual rate, which we will notify you of in advance.
Edit: Scratch that second part it appears its $19.95 |
