| Keep Macbook Pro on 16 hours a day??
Is it ok to do that? or should not be?? I wanted to use my MBP as my main desktop and keep on it a lot but I don't want to screw it up -- Comcast HSI 8.0-768 / ATT CV - VoIP / »www.ChicagoMaximaClub.net - My Website ! |

I just shut the lid and put it in my bag, never have any issues. I'd die if I had to sit through startup every time I used it. Instant-on from sleep is great. |

| reply to SuperNet33 We have an iBook G4 in the house that's only off when in a bag for transport.
That's likely what I'll be doing with my MBP, too we'll see what happens, though. It's mainly because I don't want to wait for it to boot up in the morning. Strange, because I have no problem waiting the several minutes my old Dell at work takes to boot every morning. -- The Apple is yummy. |
