You have SunRocket that just folds overnight and nobody steps in (Courts, FCC, etc.), ViaTalk with the same business model is SR, and Vonage who is about ready to take it up the ass from Verizon.
I'm starting to think that I may go back to Cable or POTS for the next year or two until all this unfolds. It may be more expensive, but at least they're stable. |
 CylonRedPremium,MVM join:2000-07-06 Bloom County | If I did VOIP right now - it would have to be with a MAJOR player - like Time Warner and not a independent company like Vonage et al.
Although - my preference is POTs and at least stable unlike VOIP companies operating at a loss to get customers then realizing they can't raise rates to begin making money or lose their customers to other companies offereing a lower cost.
Only other way I would go with an independent is if they are public and they are making money on the actual service - even if they would charge more. -- Brian
