AVG Free detects virus on Google Toolbar

Just did a clean install Windows XP, All Updates and AVG Free, when trying to Install the Google Toolbar in IE7 AVG detect a Trojan Virus.

This is a bit old news but still relevant:

If the toolbar chooses to use it, the new "Search Across Computers" feature stores copies of the user's Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and other text-based documents on Google's own servers.

So if you want to use the toolbar disable that function.

I might be wrong, but something smells like a false positive. I checked through some data bases and came up empty. I don't use any tool bar, but I suspect there is a script break causing this. Probably.

They must of fixed it, Just tried to install it again and it worked fine.

It could have been a false positive. It happens. If you received any updates from AVG since it first tagged it, they might have fixed the FP.
