| reply to Nooooooo Re: [OOL] Slight bump in speeds?
I dont care what anyone thinks and i will post it if i feel it needs to. My speeds were fixed but now its been a few days of slow speeds again. Look at this graph i made and it shows what speeds i was getting to OOL for about 25 minutes and you see it sucks. |

| reply to srstakey Well, I upgraded to Boost -- and also upgraded my router since my old WRT54G v2 running DD-WRT was topping out around 24Mbps..

So this is what I'm seeing now -- with the Buffalo WHR-G125 running DD-WRT firmware.. Great speeds, and thats a great router for anyone looking for a Boost compatible wireless router -- and CHEAP -- right now its $24.99 after $20 in rebates at Circuit City.
I'm also seeing no limit on download on Boost config:

| reply to srstakey I got faster speeds here in Bethpage. I read this thread, rebooted the modem and now the boost has been boosted. I am using the DPX2203 series modem (webstar). I am satisfied with the results. |

Nothing here yet, but my speeds have been more or less corrected. When I first moved they were literally all over the place.
Waiting patiently for the upgrade here in Roslyn.

| Well maybe its not an upgrade and was meant to fix problem area's because my speeds are really bad again and it still says 0 for the download cap. Now i called to complain about my speed issues and the tech looking at the modem saw that it said 0 for download so now they have to call me back because they dont know why its on 0. |

I've got the upgrade in Roslyn:
--
Holy Moly, I haven't seen this speed from a Sourceforge mirror for... ever :)
To give an idea of the speed range from »superb-east.dl.sourceforge.net -
•Brooklyn - Topped out at about 2.75MB/s on good days. •Work associate in Northport - topped out at 2.60MB/s and was erratic (speeds unstable) •Roslyn (here) before the upgrade - 2.25-2.4MB/s and was also erratic.
•Roslyn AFTER the upgrade - 3.15-3.40MB/s _stable_!
-- I'm very pleased. Thanks OOL! Now let's get some more upstream going! :) Dave |

| I'm sorry to hear that dude...
Mine is really kicking butt this weekend which is timely as I need to get 100+ gigs of files downloaded.
Take a look at the screen capture. This site used to give me ~2.2-2.5MB/s on a good day in Brooklyn!
-- Hope it improves in your case, Dave |
