Re: Ah

Actually that was used to link their data centers and give them cheaper pops to dump their data.

"You are talking about a several billion dollar commitment followed by probably between $10-$15 billion more to build the actual network - if someone was preparing that sort of business plan, you would think there'd be some sort of evidence of it."
-FCC Commissioner Adelstein

Oh, NOW these fck-boys want evidence? Since when did our public officials begin holding others accountable for ANYTHING? Gotdamn hypocrites; as if these billions in dollars pledged aren't gonna reach their target. Goog's been doing this a looong time, offering 'murrika free maps, gps, web searches, wifi in some spots, all the while keeping the gotdamn country on a even keel broadband wise... Muscling lazy ass ISP's with threats like "don;'t want, I'll TAKE it." We need more of that, uhhhhh, COMPETITION.

I swear its like the bloods and the crips with these politico's...

Gotdamn Democrats and Republican's want to keep us a lazy, undeserving under-class. Eff that, thats why a friggin' start-up took over the internet.

Keep on trucking Goog, and keep these goons in the dark, don't give em a chance to shit all over a good thing.

Ironically the gang references make perfect sense.

It seems politicos now want to keep people down so you don't disturb thier pay checks.

Government has more interest in keeping the population from thinking for themselves and just listening to whats best for you.

In the words of the Late Great John Lennon -

As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still fucking peasents as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

This won't work out for google. The FCC is pro telco. This is just icing on the cake watch. The telcos will get this for a more profitable service spectrum.
