Has anybody COMPLETED porting to their new provider?

I was wondering if anybody has successfully completed porting from SR.

I remember reading posts about some companies claiming 24-48 hours. Has this panned out?

Verizon is telling me 14 days.

Three days and Packet 8 had mine ported, no problems whatsoever

Fully ported to AT&T CallVantage within 70 Hours of requesting port. Port complete as of 7/20.

ViaTalk has stated 20 days on their standard LOA form. I'm guessing that since they were the first on the block w/ Sunrocket buyout offers, they're swamped, and it will take every bit of that time. I requested my port on Tuesday, still haven't gotten it through yet.

Submitted my port authorization form with voip.com on Wed, still in progress. I have a feeling it will be a month before its ported over, same as it was when I transferred from SBC to Sunrocket.

I actually received an email from Vonage about my SR stating that it had been submitted. I think I am close because all outgoing calls are now showing up on my Vonage "Dashboard"

Michael if your phone is hooked up to the vonage adapter your out going is going to show on the dashboard. Your # is ported when you see the incoming show up on the dashboard as that means the incoming is then directed to Vonage ( provided call forwarding is not on to the temp Vonage #)

That is what is weird .. I haven't received the Vonage router, I am still hooked up to the SR Gizmo yet my outbound are showing in the Vonage Dashboard

When did you order ATT CV?

You already got ATT TA and number was transferred completely?

I placed an order on 7/18 and my status is in progress, and will be compleated 7/27 according to automated status message.

Hi,

ATT CV allowed you to port a Sun Rocket number? My SR number was originally a Verizon number and so fat ATT CV has told me that they will not be able to port it.

When you look at your dashboard what does your "Existing Phone Number Transfer Status" say?

Hi mikulkamc,

I have plaeced ATT CV order through online.

Did you talk to ATT CSR? I didn't confirm with ATT CSR yet.

My # was originally from SR. If ATT CV can't port my number, I will go to pay ransom to Teleblend ASAP.

Hi,

The online system would not accept my number for transfer so if it accepted yours you might be good to go.

Yes, my port has been complete. I placed the order early morning of the 17th, and within 12 hours, got emails stating port was due to be completed by the 20th. For the full writeup of my situation, please look here:

I did submitted order on 7/18 and then ATT updated their order site on 7/21.

My order went through on 7/18, however, I tried to order again today with my same SR number, then it didn't go through.

Look like ATT CV doesn't want any ex-SR customer.

They already know we are price seeker .

So, I will call them tomorrow, on Monday to find out.

Thank you guys.

By the way, do I have to pay ransom to teleblend to keep my number before I port to any good company? I don't mind to spend $15, but I don't want any more trouble to port my number later.

I really hate SR+TB guys.

I believe I sent mine in one day or two after someone else did and they received notification that theres would be completed on the 26th
