Previous TV/Internet

eger posted : I forgot to mention that I had previously come from RCN. RCN in my old area (Redwood City, CA) was AWESOME. 10mbit downloads, 1200kB/s ALL the time. No SpeedBoost 'smoke n mirrors'. Just rockin 10mbit all the time, no slowdowns, able to purchase static IP, excellent reliability, and TV lineup much better than Comcast IMHO.

It was more expensive ($99/month promo for phone/TV/10mbit). But well worth every penny. Couldn't comment on their support though... as I never had to call them! Maybe I was too spoiled by RCN and this is why Comcast feels sub-par to me. RCN, PLEASE come to San Jose. You will make a killing :)
